This vine reaches the correct maturation only when the soil and climate are favorable: the hills near the winery and those of Montsclapade, where it grows from 15 years, represent an ideal environment for this grape variety.
The wine offers an elegant bouquet, with light herbal notes and hints of ink, bay leaves and bitter chocolate. The taste is warm, full-bodied and persistent. The robust tannins allow its aging and offer notes of jam, blackberries pie and dried prunes.
A wonderful accompainment to robust dishes such as roast kid, gamebirds and furred game.
