MALVASIA - 2020
Introduced in Friuli from southern Greece and Dalmatia by the Serenissima Republic, the Malvasia grape has been known with many names since 1300: Malvasia d'Istria, Friulian Malvasia, White Malvasia, Carso Malvasia. Pure or in the classic blend with Friulano and Ribolla Gialla, it offers sips of extraordinary elegance to honour the century-old tradition of naming the exotic wines of higher quality as Malvasia. The grape grown in Friuli is a neutral Malvasia unlike the traditionally aromatic varieties.
